Hosted by the American Probation and Parole Association (APPA), the 2019 Winter Training Institute will provide an interactive learning experience for professionals involved in the community corrections, juvenile justice, and treatment fields. This year’s theme is “A Nation in Crisis: Addressing Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health in Our Community.”

Through workshops, intensive sessions, guest speakers, and a resource expo, the Winter Training Institute will provide knowledge and tools to help shape the future of community corrections by meeting the needs of today’s professionals, with a focus on supporting those with substance addictions and mental illnesses.
