Release Date

On February 1, 2016, Baltimore City and Mayor Rawlings-Blake enacted new legislation on synthetic drugs. The new law allows for the seizure and testing of products believed to synthetic cannabinoids or cathinones or analogues and the retention and destruction of products found to be a psychoactive substance. Violations can results in fines up to $1,000 and up to 12 months in prison for each offense. Each package is a separate offense.
