On November 4th, CNN released information regarding a recall of a device that delivers naloxone, the opioid overdose antidote. The manufacturer of the device, Teleflex, has issued a voluntary recall of the internasal mucosal atomizer devices because they may not fully deliver the atomized medication.Teleflex Medical has received complaints that the product produced a stream of naloxone instead of an atomized spray.
