The New York Times reports that the heroin epidemic is becoming more visible due to the more frequent overdoses in public spaces, such as church bathrooms in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was also noted that police in many towns find people who have used heroin unconscious or deceased in cars, fast-food restaurant bathrooms, on public transportation, in parks, hospitals, and libraries.
