In response to the "significant number of overdose deaths, primarily related to the increased use of fentanyl", New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan issued an executive order to establish the Drug Overdose Fatality Review Committee. The Committee will investigate the circumstances of overdose fatalities, encourage collabortion and information sharing about overdose fatalities, and provide recommendations for intervention, prevention, and treatment. 

The NDEWS Coordinating Center recently completed Phase I of a HotSpot study looking at fentanyl overdoses in New Hampshire and Phase II is currently in progress.
