The city declared a public health emergency on Friday, June 24th as a result of 20 overdoses due to the use of tainted heroin or cocaine. Officials say that they expect the numbers to rise. Once again, fentanyl has been a substance of concern, as police are trying to determine if this substance has played a role in the overdoses.
