Release Date
On April 4th, 2016, the Washington Post released an article involving flakka's disappearance from the Broward County area. Lt. Ozzy Tianga reported that one of the most popular spots where flakka addicts would be found was now empty, and not a single person could be found. Experts believe that this drug burned out due to coordination among local groups to fight flakka's demand, as well as the Chinese government's willingness to halt the production of flakka.
